The UHF390GP pairs a UHF390P radio with the ANU230 6.5dBi antenna. Controls and a speaker are incorporated into the microphone, allowing the small transceiver to be positioned where it suits the vehicle installation.
The 5W radio includes automatic level control, scanning, duplex operation and a three-colour screen. Two microphone extension leads are supplied, including one for use with a separate pass-through connector. The antenna combines a fibreglass whip with a heavy duty parallel spring and measures 962mm including its base. A 4.5m coaxial lead, FME termination and PL259 adaptor complete the antenna connections.
