The compact UHF048 provides 5W UHF CB communication with a replay function that stores up to ten minutes of received audio. Three channel shortcuts make it easier to return to frequently used channels, while the compact housing allows flexibility when planning a vehicle installation.
Its microphone uses a heavy duty connection, and rotary controls adjust volume and squelch. Open, instant and priority scanning help monitor activity, with CTCSS filtering and duplex operation also available. A 3.5mm socket allows connection of a suitable external speaker when required.
